5 Ways to Wear a Plain White Tee

Hi! As you could tell, I have taken a break from my blog. This school year has been CRAZY busy, and I couldn't find the time to actually put energy into a post. I'm planning on starting back up again in the summer, but I have a few pictures from last summer that I never got around to posting. 

So you have a plain white t-shirt in your drawer, but you never know how to wear it without it being just...a plain white t-shirt. Well here are five ideas that I put together.

1. Hipster/Skater Girly...

I'm not a hipster. I would never feel comfortable wearing these $5 glasses from Claire's and this hat that actually says "Delta Air Lines" on the back...(again, not a real hipster). BUT I felt really cool wearing this outfit around my house.

A skirt is a great thing to pair with a t-shirt. And if you want toughen it up a bit, add some high tops and a beanie and you're good.

2. Preppy

If you're the preppier type, a blazer is a must have. This simple outfit is easy and cute. I love the look of a blazer with dark skinny jeans and tall brown boots. I feel like an equestrian or something. This is almost too preppy for me, but I still think it's adorable.

3. Casual Everyday Outfit

We can always use more casual outfits, am I right? Here is a great way to wear a plain t-shirt. Wear some light jeans, add a cute, comfortable scarf, grab a pair of booties, and you're good to go!

4. Flannel

I love flannel. Maybe it's cause I'm a Minnesotan and we all love flannel, OR maybe flannel is just awesome and everyone loves it. Anyway, a flannel shirt is a perfect thing to layer over a tee. I love wearing my flannel shirt with unique shorts and boots. 

And of course I have to be weird and pose dumb cause I'm an awkward person. But I still like the outfit.

5. Green

Finally, adding a pop of color is another great way to wear your plain white tee. I chose to wear my green pants with a couple of cool necklaces.
