Happy Friday! I had a lot of fun taking these pictures today. I was home alone, so no one could laugh at me while I set up the camera, turned on the automatic timer, then ran in front of the camera and posed! I hope you like them too!

Today I wore my new blue and silver dress. Since it is not a very casual dress, I made it more casual for school by pairing it with black leggings and a long black sweater. I also wore these tall black boots with a round toe - the round toe is coming back into style.

And for the final touch, I added this big silver necklace. It looks like a pocket watch, and you can open it and put something inside, like a locket. I think it is so unique!

Denim Vest

Hi everyone! Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was very busy and couldn't find the time to do it. To me, the best part about Thursday, is that it's almost Friday. Yay!

So today I decided to get artsy. Kind of - I really just like these candles...

Also, a few weeks ago I put up some lights in our basement. It is so cozy down there now!

Today I wore my green jeans, a plain, white, long-sleeve shirt, with a denim vest and my short brown boots.

My best fall purchase might have been this denim vest. I love the gold studs - it really adds a unique and edgy look. A denim vest can go with so much - leggings, colored jeans, skirts, dresses, scarves, cool jewelry; you name it, a denim vest will make any outfit.

I really like these edits.

And of course, I am LOVING my new ombré hair!

One final thing, I am planning a contest for my blog. I haven't figured out the details yet, but just to let you know, something for the holidays is coming up! So make sure to tell your friends to check in on my blog so you don't miss it!

New Hair!

Hello! I was very excited today because I was getting my hair done after school. I decided on getting ombré.

I have been interested in this style for awhile, and today I was finally brave enough to get it done! I really like how it doesn't get super light, but it is noticeably lighter. I think the color is perfect for the fall and winter seasons. 

I am really happy with the turnout! Thanks to Hair Envy Salon and Spa for doing it!

Happy Monday!

Hi! Did everyone have a good Monday? It was tough waking up early this morning for school, but my day was alright. 

I'm one of those people who wears the clothes they buy right away. I've basically got an outfit for the entire week already because I bought so much on Friday! Today I wore the color block sweater. I just wore it with skinny jeans and short boots.

I really like the simplicity of this outfit. A simple sweater paired with some simple skinny jeans can really make a statement.

Black Friday Purchases

Hello! Hope you've had a great break and are ready to start yet another week of school or work or whatever you are doing! Today I had some time to take pictures of the clothes I bought on Friday. Let us begin!

First off, I bought this big, cozy sweater from Macy's. If you bought a pair of jeans, you got a free sweater! So I did that, but unfortunately, the adorable light pink jeans I bought were too small (I didn't have time to try them on in stores), but I still have the sweater. 

This will be perfect for the long and cold Minnesota winter!

Then my sister and I went into Express - 50% off EVERYTHING until noon. Of course I had to buy something! I got this great sheer, collared shirt. I love how there are three different colors - black, navy, and maroon. They really complement each other.

Then we went into Francesca's - definitely one of my favorite stores. I had a gift card from my grandma that I was so excited to use! I bought this adorable blue dress. I love the blue with the silver accents. It would be so cute with a silver, glittery belt. 

This is going to be a perfect dress for Christmas!

And finally, we went into another great store, Forever 21. I bought two nice sweaters.

 I really like the lace down the sleeves. It adds a feminine, yet edgy look.

I love the color blocking in this sweater. Great colors!

So that ends my clothing purchases during Black Friday 2012. I also got some gifts for friends and family. What about you guys? Buy anything fun? Comment and let me know - I'd love to hear from you!

One More Day

Hi guys! I've had a very busy day, so I didn't have time to take pictures, edit them, or upload any from yesterday. Black Friday

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and did some shopping today! I got some adorable clothes at awesome prices. I'm away from my computer until tomorrow afternoon, so I will post pictures then, when I arrive back in Minneapolis. Thanksgiving Day

Happy Thanksgiving! This morning, my family and I traveled to Wisconsin to spend the holiday with the relatives. We had a great meal and had a lot of fun being together. Today I wanted to be comfortable for traveling, but stylish for walking through the airport and seeing my family because it's fun to look and feel cute. So I wore a simple pair of leggings, a sweater dress, short boots, and a scarf and necklace.

I love this necklace because it is fun and unique. I wear it all the time!

These boots are also very cute and practical. I wear them with leggings, skinny jeans, and colored jeans. I really like the ties in the back - they add some edge.

And, being in the north, in November, it's pretty cold. A cute coat not only warms you up, but it also makes an outfit even more fashionable. I love the buttons on this jacket - very chic.

One of the best parts of Thanksgiving is seeing all of your family. Here are my female relatives...

...and the males. Notice how they are all smiling, but their eyes are on the football game on TV.

Pre-Thanksgiving

As yesterday was the last day of school before Thanksgiving break, school was pretty laid back. I wanted to be comfy-cozy, yet cute, so the best way to do that is a pair of skinny jeans, a sweater, and a pair of boots.

Since this outfit is a bit dark, I added a pop of color with this cobalt purse.

And to make an outfit, a long chain with a cool pendant is always a great choice.

Little Black Dress

The other night, my mom and I were shopping, and we stopped into this beautiful and classy store: White House Black Market. I immediately saw this dress and fell in love. I ran over to it and hugged it and now I'm realizing that that's kind of weird, BUT, look how pretty! I love the neckline and the full, knee-length skirt. Of course I had to try it on. Unfortunately, I have no where to wear it, so I couldn't get it. But maybe Sadie's 2013? Let's hope it's still in stores :)
